On Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th June 2016, Louise Forman, Digital Skills Development Officer with Education Scotland, will deliver Getting Started with Computing Science inputs aimed at primary and nursery teachers.

Attendees will come together to collaborate and be inspired by the rich computing science resources, network, advice and guidance available locally and nationally.  There will be opportunities for hands on access to a range of contemporary digital creativity resources from Enrichment and Enhancement organisations such as Code.org, Barefoot Computing, Code Club, Lambda Jam, Apps for Good and STEM Ambassadors. Participants will gain an understanding of the National advice and guidance on Computing Science in BGE and its place within CfE.  This input aims to offer an in-depth look into the many exciting elements of computing science and how to access a wide range of contemporary resources and online materials.
