Into Film have published a range of excellent learning resources for use in Scottish classrooms with learners aged 5-11.  There is information about the free Into Film Storymaker app: The Gruffalo Edition and a lovely film explaining how to use this excellent resource.

The Aberdeen City Scots Language Progression Framework for Early to Third Level has some very useful activity suggestions which would dovetail well with this app. Other related resources can be found in the Scots Blether Glow group.

Musician Abi Sinar works with young learners to learn about how music makes you feel.
Abi played her violin to demonstrate how music can be used to create different moods.
Writer Shane Strachan works with young learners to develop literacy.

The Curriculum Resource and Information Service CRIS have Gruffalo boxes with games, books, toys and puzzles which are a great way to support young learners.
