On Thursday 27th October, SBT have a live author event from 11 – 11.40am with Tracey Corderoy and Steven Lenton, author and illustrator of Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam. This is one of the books in the Primary 2 gift bag which is great fun and full of rhyme to give practise in this vitally important area. If you would like to take part, here is the link:

Below is a further link to a new folder of resources for P2/P3 teachers with activities based around the books in the relevant gift bag.  There are also suggestions for parents which you may wish to share. Both areas are well worth exploring – scroll to the bottom of the listed resources to find these latest additions: – these include: Teacher Resource and Activity Packs, Parent Activity Cards, Worksheets for all the items in each bag and ‘If you only do one thing’ resources.

Good luck with all your Read, Write, Count activities and please remember to let us know what you are doing, we would love to share your ideas with everyone.
