Collaborate || Educate – CPD opportunity for artists and teaching staff
Creative Learning is inviting applications from both artists and primary school educators to take part in Collaborate || Educate – a CPD programme for creative practitioners and teachers who want to develop their practice in working together and in thinking about creative approaches to the curriculum at primary school level.
Creative Learning is offering 6 places for artists and 6 places for primary school teaching staff to share practice and undertake professional development alongside each other in a stmulating programme led by musician and educator Pauline Black. Through a series of twilight CPD sessions, participants will explore the creativity agenda and creative approaches in Scottish education, receive a Discover & Explore Arts Award training session, investigate ways of working collaboratively, and devise and trial a collaborative creative learning idea live in the classroom. Please note that places for this CPD are only available to artists and teaching staff working in Aberdeen City.
Collaborate || Educate is an exciting opportunity for artists working in any artform to develop their professional practice in an education context, and for primary school teaching staff at any stage of their career to develop their skillset in working with external partners and using creative approaches in the classroom.
