Miniature Earth Learning Project

Today saw a number of Aberdeen City Schools coming together to recognise and celebrate their learning about the Global Goals for Sustainable Development and children’s rights. It was an absolute pleasure to see so many young people actively engaged in learning about these and to hear them speaking so passionately about them.

The participating schools (Bridge of Don Academy, St Machar Academy, Hazlehead School, Sunnybank School, Quarryhill School) produced some wonderful and creative display boards and films to demonstrate their learning.

After some extremely challenging judging, overall winners were selected for the category of best presentation and best short film. This was an extremely difficult decision posed to us as judges and the eventual winners were Sunnybank School (best presentation/display) and Hazlehead School (best film). However, well done to everybody who participated and made today such an enjoyable and informative event.
