Nominations for the Children and Young People’s Services Awards 2017 Now Open!

It is with much excitement that I am pleased to announce the launch of the 2017 Children and Young People’s Services Awards!

This awards programme is one of the ways in which Aberdeen City Council recognises and celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of its services for children and young people. The glittering ceremony will take place on Wednesday 27th September 2017 from 18.00-21.00 at the Beach Ballroom.

It really is a fantastic evening and I encourage you all to follow the link below and nominate someone or a team for their achievements:

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate the good practice and good work that is going on within Education and Children’s Services and beyond.

Nominations can be submitted by anyone – members of Council staff, the children and young people they work with, or members of the public.

We want to recognise the achievements of all of our children and young people’s services, including community learning, schools, sports and social care and wellbeing.

Colleagues working in any of these services are eligible for nomination.  Entries can be for the achievements of individuals, groups or whole teams or establishments.

The nominations for the CYPS Awards close  Friday the  30thof June 2017.
