Mischief Makers, Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge Scotland 2018

Sign up at Aberdeen City Libraries for a fun-filled summer with the Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge Scotland. This year’s theme celebrates 80 years of The Beano with children following clues to explore Beanotown, meeting old favourites including Dennis and Gnasher and helping them find mysterious buried treasure!

The Challenge runs from Friday 6 July until Saturday 25 August and encourages children to visit their local library three times during the holidays, choosing two books at each visit to count towards a final total of reading six books to complete the Challenge.

Any library book can be read, from picture books to talking books and children receive stickers and rewards at two, four and six books but can borrow up to fifteen books at each visit. There are also special prize draws, competitions and events.

The Challenge is a great way for children to continue reading throughout the holidays, so please encourage children to sign up at their local library from Friday 29 June for a great summer of reading.
