Youth Arts Strategy for Aberdeen – One Day Survey 21st June

Posted on Posted in arts across learning

Leading arts and cultural organisations across Aberdeen want to know what the city’s 70,000 young people think about the arts; what arts means to them, where, when and why they take part in arts and what could be done to help them do more. This feedback will then help influence Aberdeen’s upcoming Youth Arts Strategy.

Nurseries, schools, colleges and universities, youth groups, and organisations who employ young people will be encouraged to take part in the One Day short survey on Thursday 21st June. It will be accessible both online and by post.

You are invited to get involved by encouraging, chatting and making with the young people in your life, and helping them take the survey on One Day if they need it. The ‘Get involved’ activity booklet attached is filled with ideas for different age groups for things to talk about or do to get young people’s imaginations running wild on the lead up to One Day. An A4 poster for classrooms or noticeboards is also attached. Younger age groups can take the survey as a class led by their teacher.

Please note that pupils who complete the survey will not be asked for personal information.

The survey will go live on Monday 19th June 2018. Visit the Aberdeen Performing Arts Website to find out more and take the survey once available.

We’d love to see what you talk about, make or do to get ready for One Day, so feel free to share on social media with #oneday and #myvoice.
