Can I request class sets?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide class sets, however a wide range of fiction, audio collections (10 copies + CD) and reading collections (10 books) are available from the Curriculum Resources and Information Service

Can I take my class to the Library?

We very much welcome visits to libraries from nurseries, schools and children’s organisations. Group membership is available to practitioners working with children and young people to support class or group visits to our libraries.

What resources are available to support children and young people with ASN?

A wide range of resources is available to support ASN through Aberdeen City Libraries.  Bag books, talking books, picture books for older readers, high interest/ low vocabulary, large print and braille books as well as educational games, learning packs, DVDs and wallcharts can support children and young people with additional support needs.
