The Developmental Approach to Early Literacy for PSAs/EYPs
09:30 – 11:45 or 13:00 – 15:15 at Marischal College
The training will provide an opportunity for support staff to become familiar with the approach, the underpinning research and the impact for pupils.
Although early years are a main focus, the approach also supports any child encountering literacy issues, no matter what stage they are. The Phonological Awareness Assessment can be used throughout Primary and even into early years of Secondary.
Introduction to GIRFEC for PSAs/EYPs
Course participants will increase their knowledge, understanding of GIRFEC. This will specifically focus on principles of partnership, collaboration, wellbeing, sharing of information.
