30 Years PGA Golf Training into 1 Hour – Pass on to your Pupils!
1 hour CPD session from Gary Forbes, PGA GOLF Professional from Murcar Links Golf Club.
Itinerary of the sessions:
1) We have to do the safety talk so we can make up some safe stations to work from .
2) Easy way to get the basics across so we can keep everyone’s attention span.
3 ) How to Co – ordinate the body and the golf club .
4) Present with Demonstration not too much verbal as kids get lost in time .
5) Key issues in the 3 main aspects of the game Driving, irons , and short game ..
Followed by Q and A .

16th November 2018 – SFA Early Touches Coaching Course for Primary PE Teachers, 09:30 – 16:00 at Mile End Primary School
This 6 hour course is open to all primary PE Specialists. The course will allow teachers to develop their coaching technique to use with pupils. It will look at improving football skills.

Wednesday 30th January 2019 – Badminton Primary PE and Curriculum for Excellence P1-P4, 16:00 – 18:00 at Cults Sports Complex, Quarry Road
This 2 hour CPD session includes a pack of 10 lesson plans delivered through fun and games, featuring basic racket skills & movement

12th February 2019 – NFL Flag Programme – American Football for Primary PE Staff – 09:00 -15:30 – Venue TBC
Programme for the day:
9:00-10:00 – Introductions and Classroom
10:00 – 12:30 – Practical Session 1
12:30 – 1:00 – Lunch
1:00- 1:30 – Classroom
1:30- 3:30 – Practical Session 2 and Assessments
The first classroom is introducing everyone to the sport. Then outside to walk through the procedures of the game and into skill specific drills. Lunch time would be a classroom on the schematics of football and afterwards, we will have more skills based drills and a game. At the end we do some short assessments and a debrief.
The largest flag football programme in the nation offers a fun non-contact football experience for boys and girls aged 5-17.
