We wanted to let you know that Registration for ITiCSE 2019, to be held in Aberdeen from July 15th to 17th, is open.
This year, an ITiCSE record of 243 papers were submitted, of which 66 were accepted. Of these papers, just over half had an author from the United States or Canada, while European authors were represented in about 40% of the papers. We also accepted papers with authors from Central and South America, China, Japan, Australia, and the Middle East, giving us a truly international flavour of current Computer Science Education research and practice.
This is a good opportunity to find out more about what others are doing in the field of computer science education at secondary school and university level, and to discuss these topics with others facing similar challenges.
We have just extended the Early Registration period so that discounted rates for students and secondary school teachers are available. In addition there is an early bird rate across all categories of tickets available until 26 May. The Registration page is: https://iticse.acm.org/registration/
