2nd October 2019 – Relationships and Sexual Health and Education (SRE) for Staff working with primary school aged Children and Young people
09:00 – 15:30 at Lochside Academy
This training has been developed using nationally evaluated and recognised Sexual Heath and Relationships Education materials.
The training will include interactive, attitudinal and values based work designed to challenge preconceptions on various aspects when delivering Sex and Relationships Education to primary school aged children. This training aims to support professionals with the planning and delivery of Relationships, sexual health and parenthood (RSHP) experiences and outcomes from early through to first and second stages.
The training will give delegates the opportunity to identify their development needs and support staff learning and experiences by using practical activities to develop their knowledge and skills.
This will include developing the skills required to create a safe and inclusive environment where staff may be required to answer challenging questions from children and young people or deal challenging situations which may arise from the topic subject, today’s environment and curious young minds.
