This session will cover:

How can schools creatively make use of the wealth of cultural venues in our City and the resources and learning staff within?

With inspirational and practical presentation shorts from:

– Aberdeen Art Galleries and Museums,

– Blair’s Museum

– The Belmont Cinema

– The Gordon Highlanders Museum

Following this there will be the opportunity to explore some of the treasures at the Aberdeen Treasure Hub and practical creative workshops that can be used in school.

and of course….. time to network

About the venue.

Aberdeen Treasure Hub is the main Aberdeen museum collections store. This brand new building will soon house many of Aberdeen’s collections of art and history, including painting and sculpture, archaeology, science and industry, maritime history, costume and decorative art. People are able to visit the Hub to undertake various activities and see the treasures that we don’t have space to display in the city centre gallery and museums.
